But first things first: Why a barbershop?

Back in the day, things were different in a man's life when it came to grooming. Before casual Fridays, guys actually showed respect for their occupation by dressing the part for the entire week (not just 80% of it). Just about every guy had a pocket comb to keep well groomed rather than defaulting to the now ubiquitous baseball hat.

Another part of a man's life was that he went to barbershops to for his grooming. It was a guy's place for the guy's guy. Whether his collar was blue or white, any man could come by the shop to kick back and chill for a bit, catch up on what was going on, and come out looking sharp and feeling refreshed enough to attack the rest of the day/week/looming dinner with the in-laws.

At Lew's, we honor that tradition by giving guys a place where they can have a legitimate discussion about what they want out of their haircut (or just leave it up to their haircutter) and trust that it will translate into a cool 'do that makes them look their best.
